Toronto-based production duo The Killabits announce the release of their 4-track EP ‘We Have a Crisis’ through DOOM Music. The EP hits stores worldwide on May 22nd, with an exclusive prerelease on Beatport starting May 8th. Limited edition vinyl pressing through Groove Distribution includes the bonus track ‘Heavy Metal,’ a collab between The Killabits’ and drumstep heavyweight and FIGURE.
Orbiting the genres of Dubstep, Moombahton, Drum & Bass, and Electro House, this collection embodies a signature Killabits sound with out-of-this-world laser sythns, pulsing drums, and raw, primal bass. After successful tours alongside bass music heavyweights Zed’s Dead and Figure, The Killabits embark on their own headlining run during the Spring of 2012. Backed by premier booking agency AMOnly, the tour includes appearances alongside Mt. Eden and FIGURE, as well as sets at Camp Bisco, WEMF, Summerraid, and Shambhala music festivals.
